Bad News From Outer Space

Blood Music is a science fiction novel which deals with the dangers of unchecked scientific progress, the possibilities for human evolution and much more. The novel surprised me in the ways in which it raises the stakes and where it takes the narrative.

How to react to something like this?

"Twin Lizzy", a Twin Lizzy tribute act played at the Six Six in Cambridge.

A very interesting evening, complete with a screaming patron before the band had even arrived and then a pair of extremely drunk dancers dominating the dancefloor.

All in all a very good gig with a reasonable sonic likeness to the real thing.
